Derbyshire Beginners

An easy paced weekend, through the rolling Derbyshire countryside, developed for those fairly new to mountain biking.

Our mountain bikes holiday routes through the Peak District National Park have been tailor made to provide a variety of riding, including former railway lines, which are now the gently undulating cycle routes of the Tissington and the High Peak trails. We weave our way around the bridleways and backroads of Middleton Common, passing the stately homes of Haddon Hall and Chatsworth House and in the evening relax in a superb local inn renowned for its food.

Superbly positioned in the village of Middleton-by-Youlgreave with its plethora of great local pubs our freindly B&B's provide the perfect base for this weekend and offer a little luxury at the end of a hard day’s ride. Evening meals on Friday and  Saturday night are taken at one of the village pubs and no doubt accompanied with a few local ales!

Our support vehicle carries plenty of delicious munchies for the ‘snack stops’, as well as lots of drinks and a delicious buffet-style lunch. It’s also got bike spares and space for tired bikers if the going gets too tough.

Hop on the train if you want to avoid the weekend traffic and we'll even collect you / drop you off at the station.
