A classic mountain bike holiday / long weekend in the stunning landscape of the UK's Lake District. This place to place holiday with 4 days of quality riding will both challenge & inspire.

Being the Lake District each day is unique with the terrain changing constantly crossing ridges, along valleys and over high mountain passes. Taking in the localities of Ulswater, Grasmere, Coniston, and the amazing and fabled High Street, this short break provides us with the possibility to take on the most exciting mountain biking in the country! These trails are the backyard and playground of Skedaddle's locally based guides meaning the mountain biking is some of the best the area has to offer, taking in some less well known trails as well as some of the Lakes trade mark rides.

As always, the Skedaddle backup vehicle is never too far away so you have access to spare kit (or an emergency snack bar!) throughout the day. If that last cheeky climb of the afternoon is just one too many for tired legs then you can even hop on board for a lift and save yourself for the downhill that follows. Our accomodation for the trip is in a great B&B in Penrith offering a bit of luxury at the end of a day on the bike.
