Gently paced, this place to place Spanish cycling holiday starts in the ancient town of Ronda, with its superb views of El Mecadillo gorge, we traverse the beautiful Grazalema and Alcornocales National Parks, before arriving at the amazing sandy beaches of the Costa de la Luz.

Amongst the many highlights of the trip are the awesome Tajo Gorge, which splits Ronda in two, the limestone crags of the Grazalema mountains, the cave painting of Pileta and the lovely cycling trails through the cork oak forests of the Alcornocales. Our cycling holiday ends in Tarifa, situated at the southern end of the Iberian Peninsula. This vibrant Spanish town provides a fitting end to a week of bike exploration.

On a mixture of dirt tracks and back lanes, this cycling holiday is gently paced, with an emphasis on appreciating this beautiful area by bike, rather than getting to the next accommodation as soon as possible. That said, there are some decent climbs to get your cycling legs into and earn your après ride tinto.

Accommodation along the route is picked by quality, character and authenticity to give you a truly Andalucian experience. Ancient Moorish village houses, grand casonas, rural hotels built into castle walls, a beachside thatched hotel and a riverside casa rural with an organic kitchen and chance of a massage or Turkish bath to soothe any aching limbs, are all places you will be staying the night.
