The Lake District - Skiddaw Skedaddle

A wonderful mid-level Skedaddle UK mountain bike weekend in the Lake District, that is not to be missed! There are stunning views of the Northern Lakes throughout and whilst there are some 'cheeky climbs' and technical sections during the weekend, it's not too daunting for those with limited off-road experience or for of a reasonable fitness.

Keswick is the perfect setting for this popular weekend, with its plethora of great local pubs, restaurants and freindly B&B's providing us with the perfect base. Evening meals on Friday or taken at a great local pub and no doubt accompanied with a few local ales, with Saturday's meal in a fun local restaurant.

With direct trains from London to Penrith just over 3 hours long, we'll happily collect you / drop you off if arriving by train.

Cycling straight 'out of the door' in Keswick, our routes see us winding our way along ancient mining tracks, contouring around the longest, steepest single stretch bridleway in the UK, through the beautiful Borrowdale Valley and includes the classic Skedaddle challenge of Whitewater Dash.
